Jill Schulson is Chief Legal Officer at PHMC, leading the legal department in all aspects of corporate wide board governance, risk management, transaction and litigation matters. Since 2012, Jill has acted as an integral part of the senior leadership team. In her role as Chief Legal Officer, Jill provides a broad range of functions and expertise for PHMC and its subsidiaries, including management of PHMC’s government relations activities. Prior to joining PHMC, Jill worked as an attorney at Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP, where she performed all aspects of general corporate and real estate transactions and negotiations. Her career in law has spanned a variety of focus areas from corporate to healthcare and non-profit. Jill has particular capacity in the areas of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, currently managing negotiations, contracts, board training, and business strategy for PHMC.
Jill is a Trustee of the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital System, Inc., a board member of the ALS Hope Foundation and of PHMC Integrated. She is also member of the regional Association of Corporate Counsel and the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. She earned a B.B.A. from George Washington University, a Juris Doctorate degree from the Temple University Beasley School of Law and an M.B.A from the Temple University Fox School of Business.
